Australian Drug
Treatment And Rehabilitation Programme Incorporated (ADTARP
Inc.)
has been formed to
assist drug dependent people, their families and significant
others to understand addiction. We will operate using the
following key principles as guidelines for our activities.
To provide education, which leads to understanding and
tolerance and therefore find solutions.
MISSION STATEMENT
To take an active role in
working with Government and non-government organisations for
effective and humane treatments of drug dependent persons
To establish an approach
to dependency that ensures it is recognised as a treatable
and reversible illness that requires attention on the three
main levels of recovery i.e. Physical, Mental and Emotional
To provide relevant
services to drug dependent persons to enable and empower
them to live a life free of drugs
To deliver treatment and
recovery programs to those adversely affected
To assist other
organisations with similar goals and objectives where
possible
To allow for the
collection of public donations and government assistance
where given to provide the best possible services and
facilities
To maintain a high
standard of staff training in our concept of treatment and
recovery
To participate in the
education of the community and health authorities on the
basic principles of dependency and what is required to
assist individuals suffering from this illness
To inform the medical
profession and the mental health profession that there are
necessary and essential steps to be taken for the treatment
of dependency to ensure ongoing recovery and rehabilitation.
Also, to facilitate and bring about understanding and
initiate significant changes within these professions in
relation to ongoing recovery and rehabilitation
To bring about the
cooperation of organisations to deliver a variety of ethical
treatments to act as an advocate for the ethical treatment
within alcohol & other drugs.

our clients to receive services that is appropriate for

parents and family members who have lived the trauma of
addiction through a loved one.
To provide a wholistic
education program that focuses on the mental, emotional and
psychological aspects of recovery for family members and
substance abusers.
To provide a variety of
Personal Development modules designed to assist individual
recovery needs for parents, clients, children of drug users,
staff and volunteers |
